EMEA Marketing Director at CORSAIR

Job Descrption

The primary objective of the role is to broaden the company’s product visibility and appeal, and drive sales across EMEA. This appointment will craft the marketing strategy and playbook, constructing a sophisticated model that accounts for geographical presence and strategic growth channels.

It is imperative that they possess a comprehensive understanding of Corsair, its products, and the industry. This position will operate in the EMEA region, working to strategize, together with our internal business leaders, managing the EMEA marketing managers to help regionalize, coordinate, and execute campaigns that support the local sales requirements. Each campaign must be customised and adapted to suit local market conditions; while the product may remain consistent, the approach and execution will vary depending on the specific region of activation. It is imperative the right candidate also has a deep understanding of DIY and gaming consumer marketing, and alongside this knowledge and experience also has a solid grasp of SEO. The aim of the role is that with these qualities, working in tandem with the strategy will increase brand awareness, Corsair web traffic, and in turn, sales.

Uniform EMEA marketing planning is key to this - to define the overarching strategy, and at times, significant changes to tactics at a country level, to optimise overall effectiveness. Analysing the performance of campaigns to evolve and refine future activities.

Supporting sales and customer needs, pushing activations encompassing crucial areas such as social media, content creation, and public relations are the backbone of this position. This pivotal role will serve as the central point for coordinating marketing activities in key regions such as the UK, France, Nordics, and Germany, with direct reporting lines to this director.

Responsibilities

  • The role encompasses a diverse set of responsibilities, including:
  • Managing EMEA wide teams and initiatives for product launches and continued awareness.
  • Overseeing campaign planning and execution for product sustaining and growth
  • Working as a ‘hub’ between the Sales, Channel Marketing, and Marketing teams to ensure quick and efficient execution.
  • Pushing towards a data-driven approach within the organization
  • Ensuring shared learnings and best practices are shared considering evolving market and conditions.
  • Ability to make a decision and learn from those, always in a positive mindset.
  • Ability to adapt and be agile in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Provide comprehensive campaign reporting and analysis.

Qualifications for the role include:

  • Proven experience and track record communicating results to senior leadership.
  • Extensive track record in working cross functionally and managing a direct team.
  • Ability to drive direction and alignment across cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in utilizing data and metrics to measure impact and drive improvements. 
  • Strong Strategic planning and execution
  • Strong written and oral communication skills

Accountabilities

Co-ordination of local execution of marketing initiatives:

  • Product Launches and continued marketing after introduction
  • Ongoing support of local sales and customer initiatives pushing real focus on awareness, engagement, and revenue generation. 
  • Driving traffic to the Corsair.com site, channel customers and engagement on social platforms. 
  • Co-ordinate local needs from the Social, PR and Technical Marketing teams ensuring a strategic flow of generated content, earned, and paid for media.
  • Help develop marketing campaign to increase Corsair brand equity, focusing on DIY and Gaming market segment with engagement and conversion within the campaign.
  • Monitor local trends and needs – including opportunities which can be pushed within EMEA and globally. 
  • Develop short and long-term plans to drive sales and awareness.
  • Collaborate with the team to monitor retail opportunities, competitor analysis and feedback into the different BUs on specific enhancements that can and should be made.
  • Build relationships with hardware and software partners to collaborate on impactful technology or game launches.
