As a Principal UX Designer, you will lead the design and implementation of user-centered solutions that captivate players and elevate the quality and success of our game. Leveraging your extensive experience and strategic vision, you will redefine gaming excellence and set new industry standards.

Key Duties Include

• Collaborate with game designers, artists, and engineers to drive the UX vision of the project, ensuring alignment with project goals and player expectations
• Develop comprehensive solutions for each stage of design; from exploration and research to conceptualisation and implementation
• Champion accessibility throughout the project and design vision
• Bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex user flows and interactions while dealing with technical constraints
• Create wires, user flows and prototypes based on user feedback to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in UX design, integrating innovative practices and technologies into our processes

Requirements

• Extensive experience in UX/UI design, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional user experiences
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of UX/UI design projects, including games or interactive experiences
• Proven experience as a UX Designer or similar role
• Expertise in UX design tools and methodologies like Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, wireframing, prototyping, and user testing
• Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices
• Proficiency in front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, etc.)
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams towards a shared vision
• Passion for gaming and a deep understanding of player motivations and preferences
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and collaborative work environment

Desirable

• Previous experience in a principal or leadership role within a gaming or similar
• Experience with motion graphics and animation for UI elements
• Previous experience working on AAA titles or large-scale game projects
• Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator experience
