We are now looking for Production Data Collector and Controller to work within the Operational Excellence team at our factory based in Hull, United Kingdom.

As a Data Collector and Controller, you will be responsible for performing process checks across our operational areas and ensuring adherence to our manufacturing process documentation, follow up on any deviations through the relevant processes in place.

Additionally, you will be contributing to the Data Collection process to help drive improvements in safety, quality, cost, and delivery.

Note: This role involves working in shifts (including weekends and bank holidays)

Some of your key tasks will include but not be limited to:

  • Performing process checks in line with the Integrated Management System (IMS) and ISO (International Organization for Standardization) Standards

  • Effective use of processes and systems to address deviations

  • Reporting and providing feedback on process check results and trends

  • Interacting with the production team and senior leaders and update the information, keeping the teams informed

  • Attending the production meetings and support the extended quality assurance team

  • Supporting the wider data collection and control team when required

What You Need to Make a Difference

A passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for…

  • Experience in quality auditing with ISO standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or ISO 45001 is required

  • Strong Microsoft Office and Power BI skills are advantageous

  • Effective communicator with all levels of the organisation, including confidence to deliver training

  • Knowledge of and skills using Single Responsibility Principle (SRP)/ Manufacturing execution system (MES)

  • Skilled in (SAP/ Prisma / QSYS- A cloud-manageable audio, video and control platform)

  • Confident with IT equipment installation and troubleshooting

  • Train people with good organisation and communication skills and the ability to work well with a range of different people from all levels of the business

  • Knowledge of blade manufacturing processes is advantageous
