Position Summary
Responsible for organizing and directing the maintenance of various production equipment, machinery and facilities preventively to ensure their performance and product quality remains consistent without any environmental safety concerns. Builds cross-functional relationships to ensure collective and collaborative goals are achieved across the organization.Role and Responsibilities
1. People Manager: Manage a team of individuals
- FE Engineers, FE PM Technicians, FE Maintenance Technicians, Train, mentor, coach and guide associates as needed and required.
-Partners with Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) staff to ensure the health, safety, and welfare of assigned employees is priority. Ensures keen attention to detail and emphasis is placed on environmental efforts for SEHA.
-Partners with the HRBPs in efforts to maintain the integrity of time and payroll by calculating and inputting Bereavement Leave, FMLA, Jury Duty, Military Leave, PTO, STD, and Parental Leaves. Manage time keeping, to include quality control of payroll processing for the team.
2. Maintain and build a strong functional team through effective recruiting, training, coaching, and team building.
3. Performance management of production machinery, equipment, and facilities
• Plan for performance management by inspecting machinery, equipment, and facilities used in the production process.
4. Preventive maintenance of production machinery, equipment and facilities
• Execute preventive maintenance before there are any breakdowns in machines, equipment, and facilities and issues in production performance and product quality. Maintains strong partnership with Production Leaders to ensure all production targets are met.
5. Maintenance and repair of production machinery, equipment and facilities
• Maintain and repair machinery, equipment and facilities with issues in production performance and product quality.
6. Managing improvement in production machinery, equipment and facilities
• Develop improvement plans for modifying and improving production machinery, equipment and facilities used in the process of production as needed.
Skills and Qualifications
1. Education:
• Master's preferred in Systems and/or Mechanical Engineering, Required: Bachelor's degree with major in Electrical Engineering and High school diploma or equivalent required.
2. Work experience: Typically requires minimum 5 years' related experience.
3. Knowledge: Require a knowledge of machinery, electricity, control and hydraulic and pneumatic system
4. Skills:
Machinery
• Understanding of machine structures and how to operate machines, parts characteristics, main maintenance items, and safety regulations
Electricity and Control
• Understanding system operating sequence and electricity parts
• Exchanging and improving the electrical system
Hydraulic and pneumatic system
• Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic system and their safety regulations
Management skills
• Writing parts list and work/improvement reports
• Utilizing G- MES system
5. Physical Requirements: Ability to use tools and access narrow spaces
• Skills: All employees for all positions must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 35 lbs.
