Title: Senior Specialist, EOHSS

Position Summary:
The primary focus of this role is to support Bristol Myers Squibb (BMS) as the Senior Specialist of EOHSS for the New Brunswick Facility within the Department of Environmental, Occupational Health, Safety and Sustainability (EOHSS). As the Senior Specialist you will play an active role in supporting the company’s environmental, occupational health, safety, and sustainability (EOHSS) efforts to drive long-term company and stakeholder value. The individual in this role will be responsible for providing administrative support and developing, planning, organization, and executing EOHSS programs, policies, procedures, and training to ensure that the site maintains a safe, healthy, and environmentally compliant facility in accordance with company and regulatory requirements. This position plays a key role in aligning corporate and local policies and procedures and will enable and foster a proactive and integrated EOHSS culture that promotes a positive, proactive approach throughout all operations.
In this role, The Senior Specialist will report to the site Director within the department of Environment, Occupational Health, Safety, and Sustainability (EOHS) at the New Brunswick facility.
The Senior Specialist will coordinate, implement, assess, and improve environmental, safety, occupational health, sustainability outcomes at the direction of the Associate Director using global and local regulations and consensus guides, BMS management systems, policies, and procedures. The Senior Specialist will promote compliant, forward-leaning culture and preserve BMS’ reputation while driving shared Company objectives at the direction of the site Associate Director. The specialist will be expected to approach the execution of these tasks in alignment with the BMS values of integrity, inclusion, passion, innovation, urgency, and accountability.
