End to End Client Technology Implementation Lead at State Street

Job Descrption

Who we are looking for

A highly qualified technology lead to manage large and complex client onboarding technology programs across the full range of services to Alpha. The role will involve overseeing multiple workstreams and deals covering the full scope of tech services committed to our clients and developing joint project governance and comprehensive implementation plans ensuring risk and issues are effectively managed and projects are delivered on time and to scope. Candidates should have prior experience on Client Implementation technology engagements. Experience leading the implementation of Front, Middle or Back Office Investment Management systems is highly valued. However, candidates with exceptional implementation consulting skills who have successfully contributed to Capital Markets or other Financial IT projects will definitely be considered. This role will report to the Head of Alpha Client Implementations in the Global Technology Services organization.

What you will be responsible for

As End to End Technology Client Implementations Lead you will

  • Be the primary technology interface to client executives and STT sponsors, and stakeholders. Lead significant, strategic, complex cross-organizational technology client on-boarding initiatives from pre-sales estimates to delivery
  • Drive end to end environment strategy, technology solutions, and delivery of these solutions across the Alpha platform
  • Accountable for the design the program milestone planning and sequencing of the phases for the program across cross-functional and matrix business and tech teams
  • Plan and proactively monitoring its progress resolving issues and initiating appropriate corrective action with the relevant teams
  • Make decisions and recommendations to the business teams and the Client PMO to manage and ensure the successful delivery of the program plan
  • Accountable for Monitoring expenditure costs against deliverables as the program progresses on behalf of the program
  • Provide insight for solutions, develop in-depth knowledge of assigned project and/or product(s) by researching facets of the operation that are unclear and developing a concise picture of the current/ strategic state and defining the solution which is fit for purpose
  • Manage risk to the program's successful outcome and change control process
  • Ensuring the delivery of new capability or services from the program is on time and within budget, in accordance with the program plan and program governance arrangements 
  • Reporting the progress of the program at regular intervals to the senior executives. Participate in  internal and external steering committees with the support of the Client PMO

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • BA/MS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Finance
  • 15+ years experience in IT/Technology Programs Delivery (PMO)/Financial services
  • Direct experience in Client facing sales process/Professional Services/Client experience
  • Knowledge of middle office technology/CRD
  • Solid understanding of Infrastructure, environments and networks

Additional requirements

Occasional travel to client sites may be required
