Product Manager III

Expedia Group believes that “travel is a force for good”, and the Growth and Acquisition (G&A) Experiences team works to efficiently bring Travelers into the Expedia ecosystem by creating intelligent, relevant, and highly engaging experiences that warmly welcome Travelers into the Expedia ecosystem and help push them further along their Traveler journey on Expedia brands. 

The Growth and Acquisition team sits at the top of the funnel, with end-to-end ownership of the key experiences, technology and tools required to enable experiences that nail the first impression for every Traveler. G&A partners closely with Product teams & Expedia Brands to drive top-of-funnel goals across numerous channels including activation, engagement, conversion, and retention. The team sits at the centre of innovation at Expedia, working to leverage A/B experimentation and AI/ML at scale to build more intelligent and relevant experiences to ensure all travelers have a safe landing at their destination.

What you'll do:  

• Ideate and priorities key features for your product areas, delivering significant improvements to Growth Landing OKRs via your roadmaps

• Leads discovery across cross-functional stakeholders to develop understanding of a shared problem, making suggestions for solutions and recommends which solution will achieve the most ideal customer or business outcome

• Gather competitive intelligence to ensure we are appropriately reacting to competitor changes

• Set, track, and communicate the objectives and key results of the projects you lead

• Manage backlogs for your product area and balance new features, bugs and tech debt

• Build strong collaboration with stakeholders and internal teams across disciplines to ensure features deliver as much value as possible

• Demonstrates a critical understanding of functional information (e.g. legal, data, metrics and technical information) and is able to accurately answer relevant questions

• Tailor communications for different audiences as appropriate and can provide a compelling rationale to peers

• Actively seeks diverse feedback on work and anticipates feedback to address proactively

Who you are:  

• 3+ years product management experience, ideally with some experience of managing platforms and technical domains

• Strong technical acumen which allows you to create strategy and guide decisions across multiple EG domains

• Previous success leading the complete roadmap development, ownership, and execution

• Natural bar-raiser: curious and passionate, with a desire to continuously learn more, which you use to understand basic business operations and the organizational levers that drive profitable growth, including staying on top of innovation in the AI/ML space

• Bias to action, being familiar with methods and approaches needed to get things done in a collaborative, lean and fast-moving environment

• Responds effectively to complex and ambiguous problems and situations
