Sr. Commercial Operations Specialist
Private Label Solutions (PLS) unlocks the power of the Expedia Group travel platform by powering our demand partners with a large depth and breath of inventory and giving access to data, tools and technology that enables them to build their business and maximize their potential.
Do you want a highly impactful role within a team that is growing fast? As part of the Private Label Solutions team, you’ll be working on the rollout and growth of strategic supply initiatives for our B2B distribution partners. The Sr. Commercial Operations Specialist will be involved in optimizing the impact of key supply initiatives & operationalizing new opportunities. In short, they will help optimize all inventory contracted, run, or ingested by Expedia’s Supply Partners and consumed by PLS Demand Partners.
If you bring strong analytical and problem-solving skills coupled with a passion for tangible results, this role is for you! We are looking for a candidate with a ‘hands on’ attitude, who is willing to go deep in execution and operational matters, and able to identify gaps & opportunities in tracking the progress of supply initiatives.
This position will report to the Director, Commercial Operations & Partner Experience. The position will be based in London or Geneva. Relocation is not available.
What you'll do:
· Develop and maintain actionable reporting for PLS supply initiatives
· Monitor progress, identify trends and frame gaps / opportunities associated to projects
· Operationalize new supply initiatives, by developing and formalizing E2E processes
· Provide project support across multiple supply initiatives
· Coordinate with & communicate to key stakeholders across multiple parts of EG
· Promote an environment where teamwork (both within the team and across the organization), open communication, engagement, continuous improvement and diversity of thought are not only maintained but constantly improved
· Other reasonable duties, as assigned
Who you are:
· 3+ years’ experience in project management and/or a similar role in a leading technology company
· Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
· Results-oriented, appetite for driving business impact
· Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
· The ability to successfully adapt within a fast-paced & dynamic environment
· Strong teammate, ability to act as one team
