Job Description

• Tax Planning: Develop and implement tax-efficient strategies to minimize tax liabilities for clients.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with UAE tax laws and regulations (Corporate & VAT).
• Research: Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations and conduct thorough research to analyze their impact on clients.
• Tax Reporting: Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Client Interaction: Interact with clients to understand their business and provide personalized tax advice and solutions.
• Audit Support: Provide support during tax audits, including preparing documentation and representing clients with FTA.
• Collaborate with other departments such as the sales and marketing team to guide them.
• Training and Education: Provide training and education to staff members or clients on tax-related topics to enhance understanding and compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in VAT.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Corporate tax is desirable.
• Bachelor's Degree in Tax or Accountancy.
• Ability to learn new tax laws and regulations.
• Very good English communication skills in both written and spoken English is mandatory.
• Arabic speaker is an advantage.
• VAT or corporate tax diploma from PWC is an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret complex tax laws and regulations and apply them to specific situations.
• Strong problem-solving skills to identify tax issues and develop creative solutions to address them.
• Tax Consultancy firm experience is desirable.
