The company’s focus is facilities operation and maintenance, waste management and radiological services, security control and force protection, and environmental services.
POSITION PURPOSE:
We are seeking a highly motivated Cyber Security Intern to join our team at the Hanford Site, a large US Federal environmental cleanup site in Richland, Washington operated by the Department of Energy. This internship provides a unique opportunity for college-level students to gain hands-on experience in security operations (SOC) and governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) within the field of cyber security. The selected candidate will work closely with experienced professionals to support and enhance the cyber security program at the Hanford Site.
This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience in the dynamic field of cyber security while making a meaningful contribution to the protection of critical infrastructure and environmental resources. This position is primarily sedentary in nature. The work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
Works mainly in a typical office environment or from home. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
