Job Description

Secondary Specialist - Lock Desk

Starting pay ranges $23-$30/hr DOE

This position reports out of the Sacramento corporate office but is available as hybrid-remote or remote based on location. The schedule is 8am-5pm PST. 

The Secondary Specialist will oversee all mortgage loans that are locked including those which need a revision, will maintain Optimal Blue users and pricing, and Pricing Exception application. The Secondary Specialist works collaboratively with their team and provides support to Summit's nationwide branches.

What you would be doing:

• Upload daily pricing for all Summit programs in Optimal Blue.
• Lock all loans within our Pricing Engine Optimal Blue and LOS system Encompass.
• Revise locks in Optimal Blue, LOS system, and with investors.
• Manage pipeline views for different job functions.
• Approve all PEP (Pricing Exception Policy) when branches have the funds.
• Deny PEP when branches are negative in funds.
• Run reports in Encompass.
• Add PEP on competitive and extensions to lock in Optimal Blue.
• Know how to read Rate sheet, LLPA's.
• Know how to Price loans manually as well as Rate Renegotiations.

Additional responsibilities for advanced experience of 3 plus years:

• Review and update various funding reports on any loan with a variance.
• Review report and advise weekly the LO Comp and Branch Margin discrepancies for Accounting/Finance.
• Run Best Execution all Non-QM locks.
• Monitor all price exceptions, making sure data is correct and proper process is followed.
• Add/Remove users in Optimal Blue.
• Create new branches in Optimal Blue, when needed.
• Complete proper set up process when a new investor and/or program is approved in Optimal Blue. 

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years related experience or equivalent.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office software, Excel and Word. 
• Ability to work a full time schedule of 8am-5pm PST.
