Red Bull UK is recruiting for a Tesco Sales Intern to be based in London, UK.
Tesco are Red Bull’s the largest retailer customer with a retail sales value of over £100m per year. The role of the Tesco team is to maximise can sales, but to ensure the account remains as profitable as possible. The operation is a very intricate one with over 30 products sold across Large, Small and Online store formats. With the relationship being so complex, there is a huge amount of data which the team must analyse to allow them to make the best strategic decisions. The purpose of this internship will be to support in the analysis of that data and communicate it effectively to key stakeholders to support in the growth & success of the Tesco account. You’ll learn first hand what its like to manage a £100m account with the largest retailer in the UK. This is a paid internship. The internship runs from the 10th June 2024 to 6th September 2024. You must be available for the whole duration of the programme.
Data Analysis
Collate and analyse in store sales data (EPOS).
Draw conclusions and recommendation that the accounts team can implement.
Review promotional data and analyse market share performance
Support the accounts team to build trackers which will ease the communication of findings.
Feedback and present to the team your findings and recommendations
Field Sales Engagement
Working closely with our field team spending days out in trade to discover key insight
Monitor our competitions activity to allow us to react appropriately.
Take ownership of the flow of information through to the regional field teams
Looking No.1 In Store
Create and project manage a point of sale activation within the Tesco estate
Manage multiple internal and external teams to deliver the project whilst working closely with our shopper marketing and field sales team
We're not looking for experience or qualifications. Instead, we want someone who is:
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel (intermediate level)
Use of PowerPoint
An understanding of the FMCG Industry
Ability to understand and draw conclusions from large data sets
Good communication (verbal and written) skills
Good time management skills
