We are looking for a Facility and Safety Coordinator: in this role you will be in charge of facility management activities across UK sites. You will also supervise the maintenance and correct application of safety procedures across UK sites, giving support in all activities related to safety, risk prevention and protection of employees and customers of the UK sites.

Job Description

Health and Safety

Assist all relevant stakeholders in mitigating the risk in our operations, including but not limited to Health & Safety, Security and Sanitisation.

Support the HSE and Facility Director by working for safety, risk prevention and protection of workers and customers.

Keep track and updates reports related to safety trainings, incidents, accidents and significant near misses.

Responsible for highlighting risk across all functions of the UK branch.

Generates and checks informative documentation related to risks that have to be sent out to relevant organisations.

Liaise with purchasing team to ensure goods and services are provided in timely manner and at agreed conditions.

Facility Management

Ensures the functionality of the company's general systems, building infrastructures, general furnishings and equipment in collaboration with Facility Manager and external suppliers.

Supports with the management of planned and reactive soft and hard Facilities Management services, including, but not limited to, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning), Fire Safety, Security, Water Treatment, Waste Management. Cleaning, Sanitisation.

Responsible to align and collaborate with the Infrastructures dept. for any project management activities related to facilities such as office renovation, improvement projects and moves in the assigned area (UK branch).

Responsible for planning Ordinary and Preventive Maintenance interventions on general systems and building infrastructures.

Ensure fire and emergency arrangements are in place and regularly monitored.

Co-ordinate weekly fire checks.

Co-ordinate and liaise with contractors and arrange site and maintenance services.

Communicate effectively with colleagues, external suppliers and consultants.

Qualifications

Educated to A-level standard or equivalent

understanding of Health and Safety topics within a manufacturing working environment

Previous solid experience in maintenance/facility management activities

Computer literate and proficient in MS Office

Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines

Excellent attention to details and strong project management skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines

Be proactive and organised

Fluency in English

Team player attitude
