Company Description

Red Bull UK is recruiting for Culture Marketing Intern to be based in London for 4 months.

As a Culture Intern, you will play a pivotal role in our music and dance program, serving as a key support to the Culture team. Your responsibilities will span across various roles from curating events to nurturing talent and brainstorming innovative ideas within the Culture playground – music, dance, art, fashion to name a few. This is a paid internship. The internship runs from the 10th June 2024 to 27th September 2024. You must be available for the whole duration of the programme.

Event Support

 

Your role will involve assisting in the planning, coordination, and execution of our events within our music and dance program. From intimate performances to large-scale productions, you'll contribute your organisational skills and creative insights to ensure each event runs smoothly and leaves a lasting impression on our audience.

 

Talent Development

 

In collaboration with our team, you will have the opportunity to engage with emerging and established talent within the music and dance communities. Whether it's scouting for new artists, facilitating collaborations, or providing support to performers, you'll be instrumental in fostering a nurturing environment that empowers artists to thrive.

 

Ideation and Innovation

 

Creativity lies at the heart of the culture team, and we're constantly seeking fresh ideas to push boundaries and inspire our audience. As a Culture Intern, you'll be encouraged to bring your unique perspective to the table, contributing to brainstorming sessions and helping to shape the direction of our programming. Whether it's exploring new themes, formats, or partnerships, your input will be invaluable in keeping our offerings vibrant and relevant.

 

Collaboration and Communication

 

Effective teamwork is essential to our success, and you'll have the opportunity to collaborate closely with colleagues across departments. From marketing and production to artist relations and partnership, you'll engage in open communication and seamless coordination to ensure our cultural initiatives are executed with precision and impact.

Qualifications

We're not looking for qualifications. Instead, we want someone who has/embodies: 

Passion for Music and Dance: A genuine interest in music and dance is fundamental. An understanding and appreciation of various genres, styles, and cultural influences within the music and dance landscape will enrich your contributions.

Event Planning and Coordination: Experience or coursework in event planning and coordination is valuable. Familiarity with organising logistics, managing schedules, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring smooth execution of events is crucial.

Talent Identification and Development: An eye for talent and an understanding of the industry's trends. Experience in scouting and nurturing talent, whether through volunteer work, or personal projects, will be beneficial.

Creative Ideation: Strong creativity and ideation skills. The ability to think outside the box, generate innovative concepts, and contribute fresh ideas.

Communication and Collaboration: Effective communication and collaboration. The ability to articulate ideas clearly, listen actively, and work with team members from diverse backgrounds.

Organisational Skills: Strong organisational skills, managing multiple tasks and deadlines effectively. Attention to detail, time management, and the ability to prioritise tasks.

Adaptability and Flexibility: The music and dance industry can be fast-paced. Being adaptable and flexible in response to changing circumstances, unexpected challenges, and evolving priorities.

Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong problem-solving skills and finding creative solutions under pressure. The ability to remain calm, resourceful, and solution-orientated.

Tech savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms

Cultural Awareness and Sensitivity: An understanding of cultural diversity and sensitivity to different cultural perspectives.
