Company Description

Red Bull UK is recruiting for an eSports and Gaming Intern to be based in London for 3 months.

The eSports & Gaming Intern is required to support the eSports & Gaming Program through 4 key pillars: Events, Players, Partnerships and The Red Bull Gaming Sphere. In addition, this role will work with cross departmental teams including Field, Brand, Media Network and Sales to help integrate Gaming into the broader business and support ongoing projects. The eSports & Gaming Intern will work closely with the gaming team across the previously mentioned pillars supporting ongoing projects. In addition, they will take ownership and responsibility of certain gaming initiatives across the program, including identifying opportunities with University societies and Red Bull Gaming Sphere programming.

The internship runs from the 10th June 2024 to 6th September 2024. You must be available for the whole duration of the programme.

Job Description

Events

Work with the Gaming & eSports team to implement quarterly highlight events in close partnership with games publishers and partners.

Contribute to innovation and collaboration with internal stakeholders to develop and maintain a gaming event portfolio that pays back to all areas of the business.

Work with regional field teams to support owned and 3rd party events in their markets.

Players

Work with our Players and Creators to build relationships and find opportunities for social content or activations at the Red Bull Gaming Sphere.

Support our Players and Creators in their day to day and activations.

Partners

Support Gaming team to maintain close working relationships with existing partners, fostering an environment of collaboration and creativity.

Assist with developing and optimising partnership activations.

Red Bull Gaming Sphere

Work with the Red Bull Gaming Sphere team to optimise processes and improve execution at our events.

Build relationships with communities and individuals that currently use or could utilise the space.

Contribute to new event concepts and opportunities to raise the profile of the Sphere including working with our Media Network team on social output.

Qualifications

Excellent understanding of the Esports & Gaming industry and trends.

Experience working with gaming and/or esports marketing, events, media or talent management.

Experience working on live events including production and broadcast elements.

Excellent written, presentation and verbal skills, with a strong attention to detail.

Digital marketing experience is an asset – across all major social platforms and content creation tools.

Strong leadership, initiative, and communications skills.

Ability to manage a budget and meet strict and demanding deadlines.

Strong analytical skills, including proficiency in MS excel, MS Word, PowerPoint.

Understanding and confidence in working with gaming platforms both digital and physical.

Creative, innovative, and open-minded.
