MEIA Trade & Product Compliance Manager - Fixed Term Contract (12m) at Richemont

Description

 

The PTC manager is responsible for managing all product and trade compliance activities in the countries / territories allocated to them. The PTC manager will ensure that our logistics flows are in compliance with all applicable regulations, trade agreements and guidance from local and international regulators.

The PTC manager will work in close collaboration with the logistics teams based in the MEIA region, our group logistics function including group PTC as well as our Maisons and external partners.

 

Key Responsibilities

Scope:

  1. Develop, implement and maintain the trade compliance program as per Group Compliance Governance
  2. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to international trade
  3. Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance on trade-related matters
  4. Collaborate with internal teams, including legal, finance, tax, Maisons and logistics to manage compliance requirements
  5. Conduct periodic risk assessments and audits to identify potential compliance issues as per Group compliance calendar
  6. Establish procedures to mitigate trade compliance risks and monitor compliance with those procedures
  7. Track and report on metrics related to trade compliance
  8. Stay up-to-date with the latest regulations and developments in the trade compliance industry
  9. Manage relationships with regulators and third-party service providers
  10. Support territories when setting up new routes to market to ensure full compliance
  11. Help in developing and maintaining trade compliance policies, procedures and controls
  12. Creation of SOPs for all trade compliance related activities, ensure that all SOPs are correctly documented and checked
  13. Work with internal and external auditors to review compliance internal controls
  14. Together with Sr. manager conduct compliance training to relevant staff and educate employees regarding the impact of non-compliance in our organization
  15. Work with local regulators and government to ensure that all shipments are cleared according to local requirements
  16. Liaise with external auditors and finance team to support with external and internal audits

 

Responsibilities 

  1. Help identify best partners to support trade compliance efforts in the region and regularly meet with them to ensure alignment with Richemont strategy
  2. Ensure that all new routes to markets have been checked for compliance in the region
  3. Train team of product and trade compliant officers to support the region
  4. Close collaboration with group trade compliance team to ensure alignment on initiatives and tools used

 

Requirements

 

  • University Graduate in Quality Management is preferred
  • 5 years & above working experience, MEIA working experience will be an advantage
  • Richemont products regulations knowledge will be an advantage
  • Strong Analytical and report writing skills
  • Strong PC skills, expertise with Windows, MS Office, Powerpoint
  • Excellent communication skills with external & internal customers
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Fluent English. Arabic language is a plus.

Additional Information

  • Travel needs 20%
