About the Role:
To maximise business benefits for the supply chain excellence team by effective project management activity across develop and enabling. To provide flawless delivery of the projects/programmes by managing Supply Chain & wider Business Teams. Engage with Supply Chain Exec Team to update, align and manage expectations. Drive benefit realisation through effective project/programme management.
Key Responsibilities:
Support shaping and delivery of Supply Chain Excellence projects.
Ensure projects and programmes are delivered
Ensure projects and programmes are aligned to our mission
Contribute to the CI programme throughout the project where necessary.
Effectively manage any team members key to the projects/programmes.
Effectively manage the budget/benefits involved with all projects/programmes.
Manage and execute any Change Elements of Supply Chain Excellence projects/programmes.
Ensure a robust communication plan in place around all Supply Chain Excellence projects/programmes.
Peer coaching within the Supply Chain project management team
Provide direction and leadership to the project team across all levels of the business to enable flawless project delivery.
Manage senior stakeholders to ensure all projects/programmes are aligned and objectives met.
Facilitate cross-functional alignment between all BU’s and the key functions of commercial, supply chain, finance, operations, DSP & NE.
Lead multi-functional scoping of projects/programmes, mapping resource requirements, milestones & timelines.
Challenge any business scope to enable successful delivery of projects/programmes.
Maintain and share an accurate perspective of projects/programmes timings and benefits, managing risk to ensure delivery and suggesting possible corrective actions where necessary.
Establish internal and external relationships to maximise competitive advantage.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:
Project management experience with a track record of delivering results within Supply Chain
Change management experience with a track record of delivering results
Previous experience gained from within FMCG
Experience of working with and driving cross-functional project teams.
Cross-functional knowledge of the supply chain and wider business.
Experience of managing budgets is desirable.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing/CI principles.
