The Associate, Investment & Valuation will be a key member of our Investment & Valuation (I&V) team, bringing renewable energy projects forward for investment decisions at RWE Clean Energy (RWECE). Our I&V team enables value-added growth by providing analysis and critical advice to our colleagues in the business while ensuring strong governance around investment decisions. The Associate will work closely both with our I&V team and with colleagues from the whole Finance community and broader Renewables business. Our team environment is high-energy. Qualifications:
Bachelor of Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or similar university degree, required
2-5 years’ experience in Finance roles (including internships), required
Knowledge of valuation methodologies (especially DCF) and of financial modeling (Excel), required
Communication and presentation skills, required
Interest in renewable energy or energy markets, required
Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to manage customer relationships
Demonstrated desire to learn about the Company and the renewables space
Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Teams
Ability to meet deadlines
Strong organization skills and ability to coordinate multiple tasks and deliverables
Motivated self-starter, goal-oriented, and strong problem-solving abilities
Responds well to direction, is easy to challenge and develop, and is coachable
Detail-oriented, has strong business acumen, and a sound understanding of business concepts
Pay range: The annual base salary range for this position in California or New York City is $66,000 - $99,000 . The listed salary range represents our good faith estimate for this position and represents the range for new hire salaries across all U.S locations. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. RWE considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s education & work experience, training & certifications, and key skills as well as market and business considerations at the time of the offer.
