We are looking for a multi-skilled Engineering Apprentice to work within our Refining and Packing team. You will complete a 4 years apprenticeship n engineering to learn the best engineering pratices, learn the sugar refinig and/or packing process.

What you willl be doing;

To complete a four year apprenticeship to learn best engineering practises to the standard of a Multi-skilled Technician at Tate& Lyle Sugars.

The Apprentice will be able to:

• Position, assemble, install and dismantle mechanical and electrical plant and equipment to agreed specifications
• Carry out planned, unplanned and preventative maintenance procedure son plant and equipment
• Replace, repair and/or remove components in plant and equipment and ensure its return to operational condition.
• Diagnose and determine the cause of faults in plant and equipment
• Develop and apply continuous improvement principals

The Maintenance and Operations Engineering Technician standard offers the flexibility to train and develop skills in both electrical and mechanical technician roles to enable the apprentices to safely perform maintenance and operational activities. After concluding the Apprentoceship program, Apprentices will move on from their apprenticeship to Technician roles in Packing and Refinery maintenance teams.
