We have four positions within the Finance function at our Global Head Office in central London, and we are looking for passionate and motivated individuals to join the team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a global team working with some of the most established and innovative people in the industry!

 

The roles

The roles are within our Accounts Payable, Talent Payments, Royalties and Cash & Treasury departments.

 

When joining these teams, you will be supporting our senior finance staff with a number of dynamic and varied tasks. You will be able to develop your skills and knowledge in different areas of finance whilst contributing to the success and growth of our business.  

 

Key Responsibilities (will vary based on the department and full job descriptions are available on request):

 

Accounts Payable

  • Own invoice processing/payments from the Fremantle Group Head Office (approx. 2,000 per month) and various payments runs relating to vendors within UK, Europe and rest of the world
  • Various other Accounts Payable duties

 

Cash & Treasury

  • Facilitate payments made through the banking platforms, including manual cash payments, and ensure compliance to policy and controls
  • Carry out bank statement reviews and process daily bank statement transactions in SAP

 

Royalties

  • Preparation of the financial journals and payment headers using our accounting system SAP, ensuring that data is thorough and accurate
  • Initiate payments to beneficiaries and preparation of schedules to support the recharges shown on the beneficiary and agent statements

 

Talent Payments

  • Make payments to our on-screen talent and contributors in accordance with Union Agreements
  • Maintain records on the Talent Payments system

What experience you’ll need:

  • GCSE English and Maths Grade A* - C (9 to 5)
  • Proactive, positive and can-do attitude
  • Attention to detail and accuracy is crucial to this role, as is the ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Flexible approach and a team player
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritise and multi-task
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and Outlook  
  • Be curious and want to learn about the role of Finance, particularly in the Media Industry
  • Tech savvy with an appetite to learn new finance systems, e.g. SAP
  • You must have the right to work in the United Kingdom
