Reporting to: Global Head of Branded Content & Sponsorship (Milan) and VP of Global Branded Content & Sponsorship (London)                  

Location: London, W1T 1AL                                     

Contract: Full-time, permanent

Type of work: Hybrid working (3 days per week in the office

The Role

As the Creative Executive of Branded Content & Sponsorship, your role involves collaborating closely with the Branded Entertainment teams in London and Milan. You'll interpret global briefs, develop integration ideas for existing formats with Fremantle teams worldwide, and craft original concepts tailored for brands. Hosting brainstorming sessions alongside the global team to pitch original TV and digital formats will be a key aspect of this role. You will work across a varied slate – our work takes many forms, and no two days are the same. Expect a diverse workload within Fremantle's Global Branded Entertainment team in London, with occasional trips to Milan.

 

Key Activities and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all creative output from the Branded Entertainment team for existing and original formats.
  • Collaborate with Global Head of Branded Content & Sponsorship (Milan) and VP of Branded Content & Sponsorship (London) to create impactful format ideas for brands or integration across existing shows.
  • Ideate branded integration ideas for key titles to keep existing formats relevant and fresh for our audiences. This will involve participating in workshops or meetings with broadcasters and FM staff globally.
  • Host internal brainstorming sessions in response to global briefs with the Branded Entertainment team.
  • Participate in pitches to brands and agencies for original format ideas.
  • Cultivate relationships with key developers and producers within Fremantle.
  • Collaborate with the London team to refresh archived original ideas and create pitching materials for the Branded Content Catalogue (a catalogue of ideas for TV and digital to be pitched locally and globally by sales teams and producers to brands and broadcasters).

As this is a global role, sometimes we may require you to be flexible and work outside of core office hours. Travel may be also required at times.

 

Key competencies and qualifications:

  • Experience of TV/ film is essential.
  • Previous experience in a brand-related role within a production house, particularly in sponsorship, or worked in a media/creative agency, demonstrating a deep understanding of brand dynamics.
  • Team-player with experience of developing TV formats for global audiences.
  • Ability to identify creative opportunities – develop them collaboratively and effectively.
  • Strong grasp of social platforms, influencers, and digital content.
  • Deadline-oriented with the ability to respond promptly to client briefs.
  • Good understanding of Fremantle’s key formats and different genre types.
  • Able to digest briefs and be proactive in initiating creation of original formats.
  • Excellent skills in creating presentations and high-quality documents for pitching use and sending to clients.
  • A continued desire to increase effectiveness, learning and best practice.
  • Proactive in introducing FM staff at all levels across the globe to the Branded Entertainment world and building relationships with key people to work more effectively.
  • Culturally sensitive
  • Good communication is key when working on briefs, this will involve working with local teams so a good understanding of cultural differences and working to different time zones is also valuable.
