Are you in your element when building creative, attention-grabbing campaigns? Are you a passionate foodie? We’re looking for a Marketing Executive for the Ebury Food Hub, on a permanent basis. This is a great chance to work in the No.1. Food Publishing team in the UK.

About the Ebury Food Hub

In the Ebury Food Hub, our mission is to make life tastier and easier, to introduce more readers to new and established food voices, to shine a light on overlooked cuisines and expand culinary horizons. To make connections in the most joyful way possible: through cooking and eating.

As the No.1 cookbook publisher in the UK, the list is simply unrivalled. From Yotam Ottolenghi, Asma Khan and Julius Roberts to Mary Berry, Rick Stein, MOB, Jane’s Patisserie and the Bored of Lunch phenomenon, the depth of talent is exceptional.

It’s a thriving and ultra creative team and space. Ebury’s hub model blends editorial, publicity and marketing, and feeds on ideaflow from every area of the team.

About the role

As part of the Ebury Communications team and our Food Hub, you’ll help take our books to new audiences, working closely with authors, agents, editors, publicity, sales and international to deliver engaging and joined-up marketing activity.

Day to day, you’ll liaise with authors as well as our Sales, Editorial and Design teams to create stand out marketing campaigns that generate social media buzz, word of mouth excitement, pre-orders and book sales. Our Communications team’s main role is to connect our books, brands and authors to the right audience, you’ll reflect this in your ideas, strategy, plan and campaign content. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn and develop marketing skills. You’ll create promotional materials and execute digital-first campaigns.

What you’ll bring

You’ll manage your own campaigns and also assist Campaign Managers and the Head of Campaigns, so we’re looking for someone really enthusiastic with plenty of ideas. Additionally, we are looking for someone who can thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple deadlines, and prioritise with confidence. An understanding of social media and how to reach different audiences is key, as is a passion for all things food!

You will be an organised, flexible team player and have good communication skills to present ideas and feedback on team projects. You’ll be creating target-driven marketing campaigns and build relationships with influencers and brands.

This role will suit someone with publishing, broadcast, start-up, marketing or social media agency experience, however, we welcome applicants from any sector with the relevant skills - if you have a passion for food and an understanding of marketing, we want to hear from you.
