Junior Finance Analyst at Bertelsmann

Are you passionate about finance and eager to dive into the world of publishing? We are the world’s leading illustrated non-fiction Publisher seeking a Junior Finance Analyst who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to make an impact to join our finance team.


Reporting into the Senior Finance Analyst, you will be supporting in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.  

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing the Group budget and forecasts ensuring accuracy through detailed review
  • Supporting the DK India finance team assisting them with the annual budgeting and quarterly reforecasts for DK India
  • Completing month end processes for India and Group functions including reconciliations, preparation of provisions and accruals; and review of overheads
  • Preparing and consolidating management reports for inclusion in the monthly DK Exec pack
  • Taking on ad hoc analysis as required for the DK Executive and Senior Management teams
  • Collaborate with various teams across the organization to gather relevant financial data


Whether you're a recent Finance graduate or have some experience in finance or accounting, this is an opportunity to join a collaborative team where your contributions will be valued. To succeed in the role, you will be someone with excellent attention to detail who is financially and commercially aware. Working to multiple deadlines, projects and workloads, the ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, confident and able to work independently as well as part of a team with a can-do attitude. Working closely with non-finance colleagues, it is essential that your communication skills are up to scratch as you will need to be able to explain financial concepts without the jargon!
