Account-Based Marketing (ABM) Director

The focus of your role

Capgemini is looking for an ABM Marketing Director, Financial Services, to advise and support its Strategic Group Accounts. The ABM leader will leverage marketing tools, content and events to effectively drive account growth, with a focus on expanding mind share and market share.

As part of the financial service ABM team, you will oversee a team of five account managers (globally dispersed) who are responsible for the development, roll out and implementation of an ABM strategy for 22 Strategic Accounts to help each team meet their relationship growth/sales objectives. Your role will encompass end-to-end account-based marketing, including the creation of sales/marketing assets, customer-journey mapping, custom and corporate events, building narratives, storytelling to demonstrate our account value and driving deeper client engagement.

You will report directly to the CMO, Financial Services with dotted line reporting into the Global ABM Leader.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive ABM strategy for the Financial Services (Banking & Insurance) segment, aligned with Capgemini's overall business objectives.
  • Identify and prioritize key accounts within the Banking and Insurance industries, based on growth potential and strategic fit.
  • Design and execute few ABM campaigns targeting specific segments within the Banking and Insurance landscape, leveraging Capgemini's key strategic offers.
  • Lead the development and execution of highly personalized 1:1 campaigns for Capgemini's top Platinum accounts within Banking and Insurance, partnering with an external agency.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including design teams, operations, and industry campaign leaders, to ensure seamless execution and campaign alignment.
  • Drive campaign performance through data analysis and optimization, leveraging marketing automation and reporting tools.
  • Measure and report on the success of ABM initiatives, demonstrating ROI and impact on 3Rs (Reputation, Relationships, and Revenue)
  • Identify customized marketing tactics for key deals and coordinate globally and locally to provide proactive, structured, long-term strategic marketing support.
  • Incorporate sector marketing plans, campaigns, and assets into ABM plans and tactics at the managed accounts, in as much as this is aligned with the account plans.

What you'll bring:

  • Experience with ABM and pursuit marketing preferred; will consider those with a minimum of 10-12 years-experience in account-based roles
  • Experience in working in sales would be considered a plus
  • Should have an understanding of marketing return on investment and marketing KPI’s and how to drive them
  • Experience working with CRM (Salesforce) and Pardot
  • Familiar with branding fundamentals and latest trends in digital media
  • Beyond experience in ABM, should have experience in competitive research, and most marketing domains (PR, Communications, Branding, Campaigns, Portfolio, Events, etc)
  • Confidence and ability to manage senior executive stakeholders
  • The ability to work individually and with diverse teams
  • Quality driven, goal oriented, structured
  • Excellent presentation skills
