About the Role:

The role exists to provide reviews and definitions of the supply plan for finished products which are manufactured and/or packed within an Inhouse site. Accordingly, providing all the necessary conditions in order to secure that the planning process runs smoothly,  using SAP and APO planning system. The candidate will perform the planning through timely replenishment of stocks of sales affiliations keeping the stocks at defined range.   

 

Key Accountabilities 

Responsible for performing supply planning in regular monthly and weekly planning cycle in operational and tactical planning horizon:

 

  • Analyse net requirements changes and perform Supply planning accordingly on regular monthly cycle adhering to Make to Stock (MTS) and Make to Order (MTO planning processes
  • Communicate with Affiliates Supply Chain department critical changes/issues in demand and supply via the Demand & Supply Review process
  • Ensure alignment with all the functions involved in process especially with Demand Planning, L&T coordination, Production Planning, Purchasing site organization
  • Provide input to Inhouse Supply Planner in process of Rough Cut Capacity Planning especially with regards to additional demand as result of demand assumption, tender, launch & transfers
  • Analyse changes in S&OP planning horizon (24 months) as base for monthly Site Supply Re-view
  • Understand Sites, and the production processes, to be able to incorporate the key planning parameters and bottlenecks in the APO supply plans
  • Communicate Supply plan to Production Planner as part of weekly handover process
  • Check Supply situation in regular weekly planning cycle
  • Evaluate and root cause weekly stock outs as part of global SIM process
  • Escalate risk of supply to Supply Network Planning Lead so that necessary escalation to Global Supply Chain SIM Process Owner takes place to get global support for solutions to solve issue
  • In case of any constraint perform allocation of available resource based on prioritization rules, e.g. available API
  • Be a single point of contact for affiliates provide Intercompany Customer service (converting PurReq to PO,  ePP, FMD, bolini sticking, narcotic drug delivery’s activities, etc). Execution de-pends on the Customer Service responsibilities in each site, i.e., direct responsibility such as SEE and UK or indirect via separate Customer Service Team such as DE.
  • Master data maintenance and regular review according to SNP master data global guidelines

  • Degree or equivalent in Supply Chain, Economics/Finance or any similar
  • experience as a Supply/Production Planner within Pharma or other batch production, make to stock, manufacturing environments. APICS/ASCM CPIM and CSCP accreditations preferred.
  • experience with SAP MPS and MRP and APO SNP and/or PP/DS.
  • Working knowledge of the end-to-end manufacturing site supply chain processes including demand management, S&OP, production planning, capacity planning, material planning and procurement, order fulfilment, master data and life-cycle management. Working knowledge of MRP2 is preferred.
  • Ability to lead through influence and ensure that all stakeholders buy into an agreed supply plan.
