This role provides technical 2nd line support and managed services to our, Secure customers, through the use of compute and cloud compute infrastructure technologies, 24x7x365 days a year as part of the overall Business Managed Service (BMS) Technical Services.
By using market leading products and applying BTs process, quality and intellectual property, we provide our customers with services to facilitate their objectives through the power of communication, consistently demonstrating why our customers are better on BT.
Key purposes of the role would be to deliver an excellent experience for BT’s customers who consume the cloud compute and infrastructure products in the BT portfolio:
This person requires to be innovative, engaging, driven and is expected to collaborate work directly with the technology teams of highly skilled technical experts across BT, taking responsibility for simple and complex support work on customer compute infrastructure we underpin for UK business and secure contracts. Ensures adherence to BT’s Compliance and Security Policies, including patching and remediating all devices and protecting the BT Brand.

As a IT Solutions Technician, you’ll study for a Level 3 apprenticeship.
You’ll need to achieve (or have achieved) a minimum of 5 GCSEs or Level 2 Apprenticeship equivalent (apprenticeship or BTEC in a relatable subject). STEM subjects would also be beneficial to your application. Minimum age 18.
