You will be part of our retail commercial implementation team managing visual merchandising (VM) including Digital Merchandising. 
You will be managing the team on production of VM Guides that present our brand campaigns from retail marketing to the stores, and VM product display fixtures and fittings, briefing those into store design and managing stock and supply in life.
You’ll be working with the wider retail team, go to market and retail marketing teams to present products to customers that align with our marketing and retail objectives, from handset launches and updates to new markets. This will include working with the marketing and dem gen teams on product launches and in life display prioritisation. You’ll also oversee the production of all VM communications and guides, making sure that our stores are able to execute changes and maintain store standards.
You will also be managing digital merchandising and integrating physical and digital in store. You will manage and gain buy in from stakeholders across the business and support the developments of our retail digital tools.
There are opportunities to support with different deliverables including VM comm’s, planogram design, product security requirements, digital merchandising tools, new fixture briefs and will be the key retail point of contact with retail marketing, establishing a working relationship that results in simple, efficient and brilliant displays in store.
The candidate will be managing three direct reports in high paced environment, with interaction with a wide range of stakeholders within the business.
 

What you’ll be doing:

 

•    Ensure timely and accurate VM communications and planogram delivery between the field and central teams to drive store standards, with clear visibility for field leadership
•    Manage display security and fixture agency supply and stockholding
•    Work closely with the store design team on the development of new displays
•    Develop the team, monitoring capacity and delivery and attending the weekly status meetings
•    Manage the £350k-£600k budget for device security, digital merchandising and display fixtures and fittings
•    Develop digital merchandising in line with business and customer needs, and improving processes
•    Ensure new products can be displayed securely and engagingly, on time and on budget
•    Act as the front door for the team, planning capacity, organising briefs and tracking projects to PIR
•    Be the gatekeeper for retail space and work with Experience team to ensure that we’re utilising space effectively
 

Skills and experience you'll have under your belt:

 

•    Experience within a retail visual merchandising environment, planning & executing plans 
•    Experience of leading a team
•    Experience in the mobile telecoms retail sector or similar
•    Proven understanding of security and product display challenges within the sector, balancing security with customer experience
•    Experience of stakeholder management, demonstrating ability to work closely with and partner with the business within a complex challenging environment 
•    Ability to manage multiple projects using efficient time management and prioritisation 
•    Ability to quickly establish credibility and respect and build strong working relationships with your stakeholders i.e. store design, retail marketing, field leadership, marketing
•    Demonstrable professionalism with a proven ability to operate in a complex, fast paced matrixed business environment. 
•    A clear customer focus, both for our marketing teams and our store colleagues
