Cluster UK Assistant Accountant

Mission: By working together with the Cluster UK Business Controllers, responsible for keeping a detailed and accurate record of company’s spending by registering at our finance system documentation such as and not limited to invoices, accruals, payroll costs. To identify areas where cost can be reduced and create long- and short-term action plans. To ensure the organization has maintained compliance according to the local and national laws, and internal company regulations. To maintain proper record of intercompany cross charges and to be the main contact for our Head Office shared services team.

 

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Review and verify the accuracy and proper allocation of all cost in the Hotel cluster with regard to invoices, contracts, purchase orders and company’s policy and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate record of all consumable items invoices (MIRO invoices) and or record them in SAP.
  • Support Revenue and Reservations teams on recording travel agency commission invoices at PAYCOM system.
  • Preparing weekly manual payments proposal.
  • Posting monthly payroll at our financial system.
  • Ensure timely payments of VAT instalments, Corporation TAX instalments and any other tax payments.
  • Supporting the Cluster UK Business Controllers with balance sheet reviews.
  • Processing payroll payments through the bank (file loading).
  • Support the Cluster UK business controllers on preparing and recording the month end accruals.
  • Coordinate stock takes with the relevant teams and ensure its accuracy.
  • Support the Cluster UK business controllers on preparing and recording the month end accruals.
  • Preparing and processing intercompany cross charges
  • Update the end of month repots.
  • Analyse operating material consumptions and food & beverage costs, preparing action plans looking for efficiencies.
  • Support operational departments on preparing SOPs, providing training and helping them on critical moments.

 

What we are looking for:

  • Previous Experience is a similar position
  • Opera knowledge
  • Sap knowledge
  • Fluent in English

The successful candidate must already have eligibility to work in the UK.
