This is an exciting opportunity to be in the heart of Commercial operations where you will be leading a client first mind-set through the business, to ensure we bring desirable products to our target clients.
The cross-carline (XCL) team is at the core of business operations with a wide-ranging remit, but ultimately has the core mission to aid bringing a superior client experience and journey to life.
This role encourages creativity and driving new high impact initiatives to truly revolutionise ways of working within Commercial and beyond. The team are responsible for managing cross-carline processes, governance and delivery of agile innovative solutions to enable efficient delivery of in-cycle product management for both core product and accessories.
You’ll manage existing and deliver new software (design through to execution and operations), customer facing master data as well as own and govern multiple Commercial processes.
You’ll need to be a self-starter to build a quick understanding of the current JLR systems landscape and processes, identify interdependencies and gaps to enable delivery of the new specification management system. Where necessary, you’ll be required to globally drive new or modified business processes and deliver at pace with respective stakeholders. This may include, driving and delivering critical JLR systems updates across other functions.
A continuous development, proactive self-learning / tech-first mind set is crucial, with the aim to proactively identify and recommend agile solutions within Commercial operations.
This role requires significant business partnering across a broad range of functions, management levels and squads to drive Commercial requirements improve JLRs competitiveness. Communication (technical and non-technical) and project management skills are essential.
The role will be crucial in defining and driving transformational projects in support of business strategies and initiatives where you will be expected to engage in design and planning through to execution with the team.
