WHAT TO EXPECT
Join our team of next generation thinkers! As an ESS BMS Engineer, your role sits within the BMS Chapter which validates the BMS to ensure we deliver on time and to quality. The main activity for this role is to develop and execute test cases from requirements to validate our in-house software using the latest hardware in the loop and test automation capability.
Your key accountabilities and responsibilities will be the development of test plans to ensure the BMS system is fully validated, execution of test plans across multiple test properties to ensure plan is delivered on time and to the right quality level, and develop and maintain HIL rigs, and proactively identify upgrades required based on latest requirements. You will be responsible for testing software applications or systems software, develop and execute test plans and scripts designed to detect problems, working with System Design Engineers, ensuring the results are repeatable and accurate.
You will also be responsible for ensuring test cases are linked back to requirements and standards, documents test results, procedures and quality improvement opportunities, and will support continuous improvement activity with the goal of improving test efficiency and/or product quality, as well as support preparation of test facility and/or test parts to enable effective and test results on time.
