Corporate Security & Business Protection (CS&BP) is the department responsible for protecting the Global JLR Business through effective protective strategies and processes. CS&BP is made up of four sub-divisions – Corporate Security Business Office, Operations, The Organisational Resilience Team and Business Partnering. The Organisational Resilience Team is primarily responsible for strategy deployment of protective risk mitigation through protective infrastructure and preparedness and response to major events to protect JLR’s assets and continue critical operations.
The purpose of this role is to contribute to the protective infrastructure development and delivery at all UK based sites. This role will identify and deliver continuous improvements on fault rectification on key metrics for Fire Alarm system, CCTV and Access Control system to drive change.
WHAT TO EXPECT
• First line engineer technical expertise across all protective infrastructure owned by CS&BP (Fire Detection and Suppression, Access Control and CCTV)
• Able to investigate and fault find across all protective infrastructure on JLR UK sites (Fire Detection and Suppression, Access Control and CCTV) raised through CBSP fault logs
• Be able to travel internationally to support protective infrastructure on other JLR facilities when and if required
• Where feasible, complete technical fixes on protective infrastructure to reduce the impairments and down times on our sites
• Where a fix is not feasible, raising work with our contractor partners inline with investigation outputs
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
• Relevant previous experience in technical repairs of protective infrastructure:
- Fire Alarm Systems
- Fire Sprinkler Systems
- Fire Detection inc aspiration
- Fire Suppression inc gaseous suppression
• Experience of collaboration cross functional team working
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Experience/ Knowledge of security and fire protection disciplines
• Supplier management experience
• To have worked under the scope of BS5839
• Willing to travel across all UK sites
• International travel will be required on occassion
