Job Purpose:

The Finance Director will shape financial strategies, drive operational excellence, and ensure financial integrity across the Operating Group.  Responsible to align and work closely with BV Group Finance to develop and deliver strategic financial management, control and processes.  Lead and develop the finance function of the OG across a regional network. Lead the purchasing strategy and internal processes. He/she is accountable to

Principal Accountabilities:

• Develop and execute financial strategies to support the company's short-term and long-term goals, in alignment with the overall business objectives.
• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis processes to provide insightful recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, accounting standards, and reporting requirements in the TIC industry, across various jurisdictions.
• Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analyses for internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage treasury functions, including cash flow management, working capital optimization, and risk management strategies to enhance financial stability and liquidity.
• Collaborate closely with other departments, including Operations, Sales, HR and Legal, to drive efficiency, mitigate risks, and maximize profitability.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Evaluate and implement financial systems, tools, and processes to streamline operations, enhance productivity, and support scalable growth.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to assess business performance, identify trends, and proactively address challenges and opportunities.
• Provide strategic financial guidance and support for mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and other strategic initiatives to drive value creation and integration.
• Provide financial insights and analysis to support commercial decision-making, pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and market expansion initiatives.
• Drive financial performance optimization through commercial initiatives, revenue enhancement opportunities, and cost management strategies.

Principal interfaces:

• Africa OPSCO: District and functional leaders
• MCA OG team and MCA Finance Team: Finance Partner and Controllers in each Zone/Districts/ Country
• Corporate (Group) Functions: Finance, Strategy, M&A, Performance.
• External partners : Finance auditors, main suppliers, governmental administration

Dimensions:

Annual budget or financial business dimensions that the job either directly controls or indirectly influences:

a) Annual budget / Opex/ Capex: 300M EUR

b) Volumes/ sales/ population for HR

c) Staff (direct reports)

c) Other (e.g. project costs, procurement spend, etc.) 

Job Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or CPA/CA preferred.
• Proven track record of at least 15 years in progressively senior finance roles, preferably within the TIC / Services industry or related sectors.
• Strong understanding of global finance, accounting principles, tax regulations, and risk management practices.
• Demonstrated experience in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
• Strategic thinker with a proactive mindset, analytical capabilities, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in French or other languages is a plus.
