We are the leading provider of fresh prepared food in the UK, with an international presence in the US and China. Bakkavor Bread is based in Aston, Cheshire and specialises in making chilled speciality breads.  It is one of five sites that are part of  Bakkavor's Pizza & Bread sector in the UK.

This is a great opportunity for a Baker or Savoury Dough expert that is looking to move to work within Food Manufacturing. Were you can bring your expertise and passion to our retail customers. You will be focusing on Chilled Bread at our Aston site,
 
Accountabilities
 

  • Has the ability to present product to internal and external customers. Demonstrates bakery knowledge, expertise passion and flair. Is able to convert feedback into appropriate action.
  • Has effective internal working relationships across key functions to support the Development process activity
  • Manages and supports the team to effectively deliver the development activity to the highest standard.
  • Customer support as required.
  • Supports the customer pipeline through inspirational and innovative product and process ideation. Has the ability to translate bakery trends into relevant and commercially viable product Development. Supports sector-led innovation opportunities
  • Fully understands relevant site capabilities and has an understanding of broader Group capabilities.
  • Responsible for ensuring the Development Bakery facility operates to a high standard.
  • Develops NPD and EPD, to an agreed quality and timescale, based on a strong understanding of all Development and commercial parameters. Seeks opportunities for margin enhancement.
