Load Co-Ordinator at GXO Logistics

Here at GXO we are currently recruiting for a Load Coordinator to join our team on the Coop contract in Lea Green, St Helens. As a Load Coordinator you will facilitate the safe movement of trailers/rigids on and off the site loading bays whilst ensuring specific product delivery settings are inputted correctly and monitored throughout the shift.

 

This is a full time, permanent position, working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, 06:00-18:00.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • Communicate effectively with shunters, Warehouse and the Transport Operational team regarding kit availability and baying up figures
  • Ensure that any concerns regarding Health and Safety is immediately reported to a member of the Management Team
  • Identify any loads that have the potential to be late loaded and communicate to the operational team hourly
  • Monitor and control trailer/ rigids fridge settings, which must be documented with load times and bay times

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • Previous experience in a similar warehouse/transport environment would be desirable
  • Excellent communicative skills
  • Self-management and to take ownership and responsibility of personal workload
