We’re looking for a Warehouse Team Leader, to be based at our TJX Partner site in Crewe, Cheshire where you will be responsible for ensuring all colleagues within the team are trained in their respective tasks, adhering to Health & Safety rules and procedures, whilst meeting or exceeding operational requirements within the contract.

This is a full-time, permanent position, working Monday-Friday on a late shift pattern of 13:30 – 22:00. Although flexibility would be advantageous.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Plan, manage and adjust staffing levels to meet operational requirements and customer priorities
• Communicate to shift / team on daily tasks, changes to working procedures, H&S, Audit etc
• Complete shift handovers accurately with oncoming / off going Team Leaders & Shift Manager
• Update your team on required targets / rates, and accuracy checks, providing training and feedback to colleagues, taking action on poor performance where required
• Overseeing the unloading of inbound freight and organising the pallet pick of goods going out

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Experience in leading a team within a fast-paced operation of FMCG, from goods in, to despatch
• Experience of working to agreed targets and managing a small team
• Well-versed in warehouse management systems
• Good working knowledge of current health & safety and compliance legislation
