About the Role:
The Kinder story starts 1968 in the heart of the small town of Alba, Italy, emphasising family, quality, and innovation.
As the Brand Manager Kinder you will achieve defined targets related to profit and loss, market share and the competitive position. Within the Kinder strategy, support the Marketing Manager with the definition of positioning and detailed strategies, developing and implementing ideas, projects and other required actions, by monitoring and managing costs to keep them within budget boundaries.
Main Responsibilities:
As Brand Manager - This role involves various responsibilities within marketing strategic planning, encompassing several key areas. You will be providing essential information for defining brand targets, sales mix, and budget allocation in collaboration with the Marketing Manager of the assigned category. Additionally, you'll support the development of the annual strategic plan and assist in defining portfolio strategies, including product positioning and pricing strategies.
In communication and media, your role will involve contributing to advertising and media planning, ensuring messaging alignment with target audiences and brand image. You'll oversee communication development from conception to execution, ensuring compliance with budgets and necessary approvals. Moreover, you will play a part in deploying Global Brands Activities at the local level, adhering to guidelines while addressing UK&I requirements.
Regarding promotions, you'll collaborate on defining strategies, drive material development activities, and assess ongoing promotions' effectiveness. Collaborating with the Legal Department on contracts related to promotions and sponsorships will also fall within your responsibilities. Furthermore, you'll conduct periodic assessments with the Sales Force and Trade Marketing unit to evaluate project efficiency and competitor behavior.
Your responsibilities will extend to business follow-up, where you'll participate in sales forecasting, monitor Profit and Loss statements, analyse sales/consumer KPIs for Kinder and competitors, and conduct surveys to assess brand image and customer preferences.
Additionally, your role will actively engage in research initiatives, participating in strategic projects dealing with various issues like brand positioning, consumer insights, and operational improvements. This includes proposing, implementing, and following up on both strategic and operational research studies.
Who we are looking for:
As the Brand Manager for Kinder, you will have strong brand management experience in the FMCG industry with proven experience in developing strategies, aligning senior stakeholders, driving the brand agenda, project management, delivering successful communication programs and brand activations
You would have a natural curiosity and consumer focus, with a keen eye for emerging trends. Proven experience of building effective relationships, leading and managing change and collaboration across departments to achieve financial targets and joint goals.
