MacDermid Graphics Solutions operates as a business unit of Element Solutions Inc (NYSE: ESI). Element Solutions Inc is a leading specialty chemicals company whose businesses supply a broad range of solutions that enhance the products people use every day.

MacDermid Graphics Solutions is a supplier of consumable materials used to transfer images on to consumer packaging materials, our products are used to improve print quality and printing productivity. We produce and market photopolymers through an extensive line of flexographic plates that are used in the consumer packaging and printing industries. Photopolymers are molecules that change properties upon exposure to light.

Job Purpose

The role is focussed on the correct receipt and despatch of all goods at Wigan as directed.

To achieve all objectives whilst maintaining the highest levels of health, safety and Environmental standards

Job Responsibilities

• Ensures the efficient loading, unloading and storage of goods.
• Ensures all Products are despatched in accordance with the customer requirements as set out in the Sales order and ensures all goods are checked for compliance with the purchase order and materials sampled as per the critical material list.
• Ensures all warehouse activities are entered onto computer system accurately.
• Places all stock in appropriate warehouse locations to aid efficient use of space and productions requirements
• Ensures all goods despatched are securely packed/wrapped.
• Inspects and reports all faults found with either FLT or racking to Senior Management.

Competencies

• Experience in a similar role handling chemicals at Warehouse level.
• Experience with operating manual handling equipment, such as counterbalance and bendi trucks.
• Good communication skills written and verbal.
• Good level of IT literacy. SAP experience advantageous.
• Proactive, enthusiastic and driven.
• Awareness of Environmental, Health and Safety requirements for a manufacturing facility.
• Awareness of Road Traffic legislation relating to loading HGV’s.
