HR Officer 

 

Contract: 3 month FTC

 

Location: UK Remote

What to expect from the role

 

  • Support and coach managers in performance and absence management.
  • Manage collection and provision of audit work e.g. right to work.
  • Support on data mining of engagement survey results.
  • Work with HRBPs on ad-hoc projects such as manager inductions.
  • Support delivery of training to managers on absence management, performance management etc.
  • Advise and guide managers on people related topics such as flexible working, maternity leave and all company policies.
  • Work closely with the ER manager in managing investigations, grievances, and disciplinaries.
  • Data Subject Access Request co-ordination.
  • Manage ER queries in the HR Inbox. 

 

What we are looking for

 

  • Experience managing ER cases in a fast-paced environment
  • Retail background
  • Knowledge of employment law and terms of employment legislation
  • Ability to coach individuals and influence
  • CIPD Qualified 5 and/or 7 – desirable
  • A natural presenter who is comfortable facilitating workshops and meetings
  • A team player who is seen as approachable and a positive role model
  • Able to build positive and strong relationships with a reputation for integrity and achieving results
  • Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Exceptionally well organised and efficient
  • Commercially savvy, preferably with a strong understanding of retail
  • Pro-active and able to show initiative with a positive and challenging style
  • Approachable, warm, empathetic and creative yet pragmatic
