About the role

We are searching for someone who has a proven track record working across paid social advertising for large multi-national clients/businesses. A strong understanding of brand awareness and performance marketing campaigns on social channels is also a prerequisite for this role.

 

As the Paid Social Account Manager, you will take responsibility for leading the day-to-day output of the Paid Social team demonstrating clear, integrated planning across your clients.

 

You will also be overseeing more junior members of the social team and ultimately will be responsible for their delivery of high-quality work in three key areas:

 

  • Implementation - Overseeing the set up & launch of multiple social advertising campaigns at any one time. Ultimately responsible for ensuring that the team follow QA processes and that campaigns are closely monitored to ensure good performance. Ensuring all strategic projects are on track and progress updates are supplied to key stakeholders.
  • Reporting - Your team will be responsible for producing detailed and high-quality reports and analysis for your client. You should be able to confidently spot trends and insights and deliver learnings to clients that have a real impact on the success of their business. You should be able to coach your team to write detailed and meaningful analysis that takes clients understanding of paid social to the next level.
  • Planning - Writing detailed paid social advertising plans in excel - which can be easily understood by the client and, once signed off, are translatable to the relevant platforms. Creating accompanying PowerPoint slides to help present these plans to clients in a clear and detailed manner. You should also be prepared to coach your immediate team on social planning to improve their standard of work in this area.

 

In addition to these areas you will be involved in all aspects of running a busy media account including, but not limited to, monitoring campaign performance & pacing, monthly finance reconciliations, liaising with clients and creative agencies to ensure campaigns go live on time, working with internal teams to manage ad hoc client requests etc.

 

This person will find themselves working closely with all the major social platforms to deliver best in class advertising campaigns for a major brand. An ability to form good working relationships with media partners is key and the ability to both collaborate with and challenge vendors on all aspects of social advertising is crucial. The Account Manager role also has a particular focus on quality assurance and ensuring good financial acumen within the team.

 

About you

  • As an Account Manager you should be 100% confident in your knowledge of paid social and comfortable recommending strategies & tactics to clients. You will have solid experience in integrated social campaign management and be able to ensure all work is delivered on time and to the high standard required. An in-depth working knowledge of the Facebook, Pinterest, Snapchat and TikTok ad platforms is a must. Experience across other social and digital channels would also be a benefit.
  • You will have experience in pitching new ideas to clients and delivering informative presentations You must also be comfortable displaying an understanding of how social advertising feeds into the wider marketing mix. We expect you to be up to speed with the latest advertising technologies, targeting & creative options (and knowing how to make best use of them).
  • As a client facing team, we are looking for someone who is personable and friendly with a good client-manner. Someone who can fix problems as they arise with a smile on their face will fit in perfectly. You will be confident in your own skills and take the attitude that it’s never too soon to make a constructive contribution to the discussion, volunteer new ideas and make suggestions for improving the results of our campaigns.
  • You should be able to develop strong relationships with clients, agency partners and suppliers to gain their trust, respect, and confidence. The candidate should also be a friendly face with the wider Resolution team, acting as a role model with a willingness to help and coach more junior members of the team.
  • You will need to be organised & methodical with a calm head under pressure. As we strive for continuous improvement across the team and for our clients, we are looking for someone who can help develop new processes/templates to streamline our service and make us more efficient.
