We're looking for a dynamic individual to spearhead our UK Supply Chain strategy, driving collaboration, agility and customer focus. As a Supply Chain Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in optimizing processes, fostering relationships, and mitigating risks across diverse product categories and channels.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Partnering: Forge and maintain strategic partnerships with suppliers and logistics partners, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
Haulier Coordination: Oversee haulier communications, escalations and performance analysis, ensuring seamless transportation operations.
KPI Oversight: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to evaluate supply chain performance and identify opportunities for enhancement.
Disruption Management: Proactively address disruptions in collaboration with suppliers and carriers, minimizing their impact on operations.
Risk Mitigation: Identify and mitigate potential risks within the supply chain, implementing robust strategies to safeguard operations.
Process Optimization: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and deliver world-class supply chain solutions.
S&OP Leadership: Lead the Sales & Operations Planning cycle, providing strategic insights and guidance to optimize business outcomes.
Project Leadership: Take charge of key projects requiring supply chain expertise, ensuring successful execution and alignment with organizational goals.
Requirements:
Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
In-depth understanding of various supply chain functions and best practices.
Ability to maintain composure and drive results in the face of challenges and aggressive timelines.
Exceptional communication skills at all levels, coupled with a strong team-oriented mindset.
Proficiency in numerical analysis and various systems, including SAP and Microsoft applications.
Agile mindset with a passion for driving innovation in a fast-paced environment.
