What you’ll do
Network Development & Aftersales is responsible for providing the foundations for commercial success with the best partners in the best locations with the best facilities for the services offered. We also provide the supporting framework for an outstanding experience through the ownership of a Volvo, from warranty and recalls, through to parts logistics, service plans, roadside assistance and more. Finally, we are responsible for the commercial performance of aftersales, maximising revenue and profit from parts and accessories, be that delivered through one of our Authorised Repairers or, where a customer chooses to go outside our approved network, by ensuring that they use genuine Volvo parts. This includes the development and implementation of our market leading trade parts strategy with associated direct contractual relationship and e-commerce platform.
As Parts Pricing Analyst your primary focus is to ensure that our prices and product ranges within our Accessories, Parts and Trade programmes are and remain aligned with our core D2C, B2B and Retailer strategy to enable achievement of our aftersales commercial objectives. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team that helps drive the consumer experience through their online and Retailer purchasing journey as well as support future VCUK volume and Aftersales profit growth.
Your key deliverables will include:
- A key role in providing parts and accessories data analytics, generating appropriate actions, initiatives, and business cases to optimise efficiency, sales and profitability
- Undertake Trade parts price competitor analysis to ensure that our offer is competitive within the B2B and Wholesale Trade marketplace
- The development, monitoring and analysis of the Power Bi and reporting tools
- Responsible for maintenance and development of Accessory packs, both D2C and local UK Accessories including pack building and pricing strategy
- Maintaining pricing updates from VCC central and working closely with VCUK suppliers to ensure Accessories Sales Driver is always up to date
- Review part number supersessions from VCC to ensure that part numbers are current within the VCUK systems
- Work closely with VCC central to maintain D2C channel A code/P code packs on Accessories parts and price changes
- Actioning communications and Newsflashes from VCC Central Accessories and taking action accordingly
- Ownership of ProdNew Inbox – review daily, investigate and respond to Retailer or customer queries
- Investigation and filtering of all queries on Retail, Trade and Trade B2B parts, Accessories, and pricing
- Processing requests for approved pricing adjustment reimbursements through Web Promotions
- Raising purchase order requests and goods receipt
- Responsible for the maintenance and uploading of relevant Inside Volvo articles
- Working closely with Daventry Local Parts team on stock levels and pricing
- Responsible for Merchandise stock and pricing - including staff purchase requests
- Develops and maintains good relationships with direct team, Trade B2B team, Bodyshop Team, suppliers, stakeholders, and Retailers
- Continuous review of processing efficiency and control effectiveness, ensuring maximum efficiencies are delivered within all processes
- Continually evaluates the effectiveness of the function and seeks to improve

- Strong IT skills particularly MS office, PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI and other order management software applications
- You will have a real passion for problem-solving and the curiosity to understand business challenges and deliver innovative solutions
- Ability to analyse, interpret and draw conclusions from data
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and spoken

- Excellent customer-service skills to respond to and resolve Retailer parts pricing queries
- Demonstrate proactiveness in identifying opportunities to improve parts and accessories pricing strategies
