Head of HR Marketing & Recruitment at BMW Group

Job Descrption

BMW Group UK is looking for a Head of HR Marketing and Recruiting. Reporting to the HR Director, you will be responsible for around 20 team members that provide recruitment activities to BMW entities in the UK and Ireland, including Rolls-Royce Motor Cars and MINI.

 

You will lead our early careers and expert recruiting team into the future with innovation, forward thinking and a customer centric approach. This is a varied and exciting role, overseeing Recruitment and HR Marketing, you will really make an impact to the hiring process and candidate journey, elevating the BMW brands recruitment strategy to a new level.

 

You'll be based at the Summit ONE Campus in Farnborough with regular travel between locations at Oxford and Goodwood.

 

 What awaits you?

  • You will plan, develop, organise, implement, direct and evaluate the organisation’s recruitment function and performance.
  • Steer and execute operational processes such as staffing UK wide (external recruiting and Recruitment marketing)
  • Define, implement, and conduct operational processes regarding HR marketing and recruiting for all BMW entities in the UK and Ireland.
  • Consult, support and advise management on Recruitment processes and implement HR measures.
  • Act as a partner for business departments to identify future areas and scopes for recruiting according to the strategic direction of the business.
  • Contribute local perspectives to the Region on operative and strategic topics, initiatives and projects.
  • Coordination with regional and central HR functions for implementing strategy, processes and projects.
  • Communicate relevant Recruitment topics locally on external and internal recruitment events.
  • Most importantly – be a leader and coach for your team.

 

What should you bring along?

  • CIPD qualification or BIoR certification preferable.
  • Proven and exceptional experience in a senior leadership role, including leading over distance (multi-site teams). It would be desirable if this was within the Recruitment sector.
  • You will have excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organisation.
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in recruitment practices.
