BMW Group Financial Services UK is looking for a Sales Compliance Monitoring Analyst – 22 months Fixed Term Contract. This role is based at the Summit ONE Campus in Farnborough.

 

The Sales Compliance, Partner Management department ensures that our intermediaries are treating our customers fairly, with the proper Governance, Culture and Customer Processes. We do this by monitoring sales data, public data records, and performing oversight activities.

 

What awaits you?

  • Performing analysis of our portfolio and the external market to spot opportunities to improve to the compliance monitoring activities of the department.
  • Applying statistical analysis techniques to identify trends or out of control processes.
  • Supporting Processes across the Sales Compliance, Partner Management department by way of identifying opportunities for Continuous Improvement and supporting the implementation of improvement projects.
  • Support the remote sales compliance monitoring strategy through co-ordinating the Health Check process to ensure the identification and mitigation of risks.
  • Support the account management sales compliance monitoring strategy through the preparation of management information and the management of activities through the relevant tools.
  • Support the Sales Intermediary Governance through systemic monitoring and verification of public data sources, and supporting department processes to ensure effective management of intermediary accounts

 

What should you bring along?

  • Proven experience and knowledge of automotive Financial Services and/or oversight environment or a role that requires similar analytical skills.
  • Previous experience in the analysis, manipulation, and interpretation of large sums of qualitative and quantitative data from a broad range of sources is essential, as well as the ability to propose and leverage fit-for-purpose solutions.
  • Strong verbal/written communication and report writing skills and willingness to engage at all levels of the business both internally and externally.
  • An appreciation of the commerciality of the Financial Services Industry, particularly regarding Consumer Credit and General Insurance.
  • A good understanding of the UK regulatory framework and requirements are an advantage, and an appreciation of the general regulatory landscape is essential.
  • Proven track record of implementing or supporting small to medium size projects (inc. third party supplier management).
  • Ability to work on own initiative to identify opportunities to enhance the reputation and function of the Sales Compliance, Partner Management Team.
  • Ability to influence, negotiate and communicate at all levels both internally and externally.
  • Able to self-manage and identify issues that require escalation.

 

Essential:

  • Ability to work under pressure and multitask
  • Very strong attention to detail
  • Excellent knowledge of all Microsoft Packages particularly Excel
  • Experience of interpreting and managing data from a variety of sources, such as Relational Databases
  • A good knowledge of regulatory requirements impacting the business and/or willingness to learn them
  • Willingness and ability to travel

 

Desirable:

  • Experience of Business Intelligence tools
  • Experience of using statistical analysis and modelling techniques
  • Experience of programming (entry level)

 

**Please note this is a Fixed Term Contract for 22 months **
