Your responsibilities

 

  • You will be responsible for the architecture, design, development, and maintenance of the SharePoint Online platform including its 800+ site collections.  

  • You will design, develop and maintain SharePoint Online sites, libraries, lists, workflows and web parts, using best practices and industry standards. 

  • You will collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand their needs and provide solutions that meet or exceed their expectations. 

  • You will implement security policies and permissions for SharePoint Online, and ensure compliance with data protection and privacy regulations. 

  • You will monitor and troubleshoot SharePoint Online performance, availability and usability issues, and provide timely resolution and escalation as needed. 

  • You will evaluate and recommend new features and functionalities for SharePoint Online, and keep abreast of the latest trends and developments in the field. 

  • You will contribute to the continuous improvement of SharePoint Online services, processes and standards, and promote user adoption and satisfaction. 

 

  

Your profile


Essential 

  • Experience in administering and supporting SharePoint Online environments, including configuration, security, archiving, and troubleshooting. 

  • Knowledge of SharePoint Online features and functionalities, such as modern sites, hub sites, communication sites, team sites, lists, libraries, web parts, workflows etc. 

  • Ability to evaluate user requirements and recommend suitable solutions using SharePoint Online and related technologies. 

  • Experience with migrating content from on-premises or cloud-based sources to SharePoint Online using tools such as Sharegate. 

  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools and services, such as Teams, OneDrive, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other archive technologies. 

  • Good communication and collaboration skills, and ability to provide effective training and support to SharePoint Online users. 

 
Desirable: 

  • Experience in developing, managing, and maintaining SharePoint Online sites and solutions, using SharePoint Framework, Power Apps, Power Automate, or other tools. 

  • Knowledge of SharePoint Online governance, security, and compliance best practices and policies. 

  • Ability to design and implement SharePoint Online workflows and business processes, and integrate with other Microsoft 365 services or external systems. 

  • Prior experience in working with SharePoint Online in a large or complex organization, or in a specific industry sector. 

  • A degree or diploma in computer science, information systems, or a related field and / or professional qualifications such as TOGAF, ITIL is preferred.
