This position will sit within an established engineering team that thrives on continuous development of knowledge and practical application. Working in our continental shift pattern of 2 days/2 nights 4 off, this role plays an important part of the day-to-day workings of the Converting Machines. This role is well-suited to an Electrical Engineer with experience working in a FMCG environment, happy to be hands on and always willing and eager to learn.
Ensure the Electrical Operations and Standards within the Converting Machines are maintained to a high quality
Perform troubleshooting on machinery as and when required
Attend breakdowns and act as a focal point of reactive maintenance
Perform preventative maintenance activities as and when required
Perform quality improvement maintenance as and when required
Demonstrate a high level of H&S knowledge and housekeeping
Carry out routine testing on electrical devices
Interface with the PLC programs
Holds an Electrical qualification either via apprenticeship or degree equivalent
Experience working in FMCG environment
Understanding of induction and servo motors
Understanding of robots and fault finding
