About the Role: As an Enterprise Risk Management & ESG Intern at Seagate Technologies, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in two critical areas that drive the success and sustainability of our business. This internship offers a unique blend of exposure to risk management practices and ESG initiatives, providing a comprehensive understanding of how organizations navigate challenges and embrace responsibility in today's dynamic landscape.
About the role - you will:
Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Assist in identifying, assessing, and mitigating enterprise risks across various operational domains, contributing to the development of risk management strategies and frameworks.
Data Analysis: Analyze risk-related data and metrics to identify trends, patterns, and emerging risks, supporting informed decision-making and proactive risk management efforts.
ESG Integration: Participate in ESG initiatives and projects aimed at promoting environmental stewardship, social responsibility, and corporate governance practices within Seagate Technologies.
Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather insights, facilitate discussions, and support the integration of ESG considerations into business processes and decision-making.
Reporting and Documentation: Assist in the preparation of risk reports, ESG disclosures, and other documentation to communicate key findings, progress, and performance metrics to relevant stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of risk management processes, ESG frameworks, and reporting mechanisms to ensure alignment with industry standards and organizational objectives.
About you:
Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical abilities with the capacity to interpret and analyze complex data sets to extract meaningful insights.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
Teamwork and Collaboration: Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment, as well as independently when required.
Your experience includes:
Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail and accuracy in work, ensuring the quality and reliability of analysis and reporting.
Computer Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Educational Background: Currently enrolled in a college or university program, pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Environmental Studies, Sustainability, or related field, and returning to classes in Fall 2024.

The estimated base salary range for this position in the San Francisco Bay Area is: $22 -$32. Actual salary range is based on the regional labor market of the role in the geography in which the position is located based on the requirements of the job and your skills. This posted salary range is a good faith and reasonable estimate, and Seagate reserves the right to adjust this range depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
