In this is a newly created role where we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Digital Channel Marketing Manager to join our team on a permanent basis. As the Digital Channel Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing strategic marketing campaigns across various digital channels. Your expertise in digital marketing, creativity and combined with your strong analytical skills, will enable you to drive customer engagement, increase brand awareness, and ultimately achieve our business objectives. You will manage a team of marketing professionals, supporting the Digital Channel Marketing Senior Manager, working together to achieve business goals and champion digital marketing within Royal London.

This role sits within the broader Digital Marketing team that includes SEO, Optimisation, Content Design, Website Development and Digital Transformation SMEs you will be collaborate with to drive Royal London’s digital marketing maturity.

The role has been created to be part of the drive to increase Royal London’s maturity across the digital channels. As we move to have an integrated channel approach, we recognised the need to have someone with strong experience and proactive in driving change join the team. As it is a role that spans multiple channels the candidate can expect to have a varied workday, collaborating across campaigns and channels as they develop for our different audiences.

About the role

 

  • Working across existing digital media marketing channels (social media, PPC, display, DOOH, search) and new channels as they emerge.
  • Take responsible for embedding existing channel strategies and framework in close collaboration with Brand and Marketing teams and external agencies.
  • Working closely with internal and agency stakeholders to develop strategies for channels where a formal strategy is missing.
  • Collaboration with Brand and Marketing teams and agencies to optimize the effectiveness of Royal London’s digital media channels.
  • Evolving our digital channel maturity and creative output across our channels, with a key focus on social and paid media.
  • Proactively anticipating the future landscape of digital media channels and collaborating with external agencies to ensure Royal London remains current and well-prepared for changes within the digital media channels sphere, while consistently embedding best practice techniques within our operations.

 

About you

 

  • Deep understanding of digital media landscape and role of content within different channels, and how all the channels work together.
  • Understanding of Performance Marketing and Brand activation in Digital Media.
  • Understanding of output from digital insight platforms such as Google Analytics, Google Display and Video, Google Ads, Meta and TikTok etc. and strategic knowledge to optimise campaign to drive performance.
  • Technical experience of digital media platforms for business and understanding of end users’ consumption of the platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills and consideration for all aspects that influence Brand and Marketing performance.
