Location: Edinburgh or Alderley Edge

Working style: Hybrid 50% home/office based

We are seeking a Digital Manager to join our mission and be part of a Brand and Marketing team focused on making a difference.

 

This is a newly created role to lead on the design and development of digital experiences for our Employer audience across public channels, partnering with Brand & Marketing, UK Customer, and Operations teams. Develop strategies and plans that deliver key customer and commercial outcomes, orchestrate the design and delivery of engaging digital marketing activity, leading flexible teams of Digital Marketing’s specialists. 

 

The Digital Manager defines and owns the digital marketing vision for a specific audience, developing a deep understanding of the business strategy and delivering a roadmap of change to support business goals. Be an inspiring strategic and digital marketing thought-leader and change-maker who can translates our Marketing strategy objectives into a programme of work that supports our digital transformation agenda and commercial objectives whilst being the custodian of the digital customer experience.

About the role

 

  • Responsible for delivering compelling digital customer experiences across public digital touchpoints and optimising key journeys.
  • Establish audience targets and define a strategy and programme of work that will enhance the effectiveness of Employer in supporting business goals.
  • Identify and lead creation of user-centric digital solutions that position our products and services aligned with the needs of the audience.
  • Lead the user journey design and optimisation roadmap.
  • Define the SME's required, mobilise and lead flexible teams to deliver against outcomes.
  • Partner with Brand and Marketing and UK Customer teams and collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders (internal and external) to improve the digital customer experience across key digital journeys.
  • Manage the digital experience evolution roadmap, provide visibility, and socialise improvement initiatives with key stakeholders.
  • Contribute and set best-in-class standards across the Digital Marketing team to increase the maturity of our specialisms.

 

About you

 

  • Excellent understanding of digital customer experience and user-needs-centric design.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Digital Marketing channels.
  • Experience of multi-channel customer journeys strategy formulation & delivery.
  • Ability to evaluate complex problems, applying judgement to produce recommendations.
  • Experience of building motivated and engaged teams.
  • Excellent project and stakeholder management skills.
