Job Title: Head of Private Placements

With recent changes in the market, RLAM will be making a significant push into the Private Asset market. As a result, we are looking to build a brand-new team.
We are currently looking for a Head of Private Placements to join us on a permanent basis in London. You will have deep knowledge of the Private Placement market with an ability to source, analyse and execute deals coming through the banking network in the UK, continental Europe and the US.
This is an exciting time to join RLAM and contribute to the growth of our Private Assets business as we increase our offering over the next 5-10 years.
About the role
- Establish RLAM’s presence in the Private Placement market.
- Source, analyse, transact and manage appropriate Private Placements for various client funds.
- Act as the subject matter expert for all aspects of the Private Placement market.
- Work flexibly across Private Assets business.
- Support and develop business materials with an understanding of any new and developing markets.
- Work closely with existing and potential clients on fund solutions.
About you
- Expert knowledge of Private Placement markets globally.
- Expert credit knowledge and legal understanding of Private placements.
- PC skills, Excel, Word (advanced).
- A high level of numeracy combined with ability to present complex concepts in a user-friendly way.
- Knowledge of regulatory environment and requirements of insurance clients.
