Records Management Team Leader – Warrington (Europa Blvd), on-site: £43,000-£46,000 plus bens
The National Gas Records Centre in Warrington is a facility which holds thousands of boxes of administrative, financial, legal, technical and property records both for National Gas and for external customers. Additionally, it hosts the National Gas Archive which holds records covering the history and development of the UK gas industry.
The Records Management Team Leader will lead a team of 3-4 employees responsible for the maintenance and implementation of Records Retention Schedules across the company, the cataloguing and physical storage of records, plus management and overseeing of the National Gas Records Centre warehouse and archive. You will liaise with external clients, respond to requests for information, and invoice for storage services.
You have experience in managing a small team of staff: overseeing their day-to-day responsibilities, planning their longer-term schedule of work and regular appraisals. Although this is an operational site, much of the work will be office-based, therefore your IT aptitude needs to be strong especially with the Microsoft Office suite such as Outlook, Teams, Word and Excel. In person, you’re highly organised with an eye for detail, customer-focussed and can manage and influence stakeholders at all levels. You can also focus on the priority issues with clear business benefits.
Other ‘nice to knows’:
